WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Where Did The Name Luna Grace Come From?

I've always wanted my Luna Grace community to feel like family, because that's exactly what you are.

When I was pregnant, I was convinced I was having a little girl, and her name was going to be 'Luna Grace.' Life had other plans, and I was blessed with a healthy baby boy.

As my maternity leave came to an end, I found myself in a workplace that no longer felt right. It was a place I once gave so much of myself to, but I knew I needed to protect my peace. So, I turned to candle making - at first, just as an outlet… a bit of self-therapy.

What started as a creative escape quickly became a passion. During one of those many sleepless nights, the name 'Luna Grace Candle Co.' came to me and it just felt right. From there, everything began to fall into place.

Building a business and building a brand is honestly the hardest thing you'll ever do. It stretches you. It humbles you. It teaches you patience you didn't know you needed. But you keep going... because this isn't just a business. It's personal.

The Beginning

Luna Grace was born from sleepless nights and a need for change. Late nights at the kitchen bench, testing candles, designing labels, building a website, and nervously applying for our first markets. Our original amber jar candles became the foundation of everything - simple, honest, and made with heart.

2024

The Turning Point

We released our Sorrento clear double-wall range - a decision that quietly changed everything. This timeless design opened doors we once only dreamed of, carrying Luna Grace into homes and beautiful stockists across Australia. Suddenly, people weren't just buying candles - they were investing in our story.

Memorial Candles

From day one, our memorial candles have been deeply personal. Each one is thoughtfully crafted with intention - from selecting meaningful scents to hand-pouring, careful curing, and personalising with cherished photos and messages. These aren't just candles; they're tributes to the people who shaped our lives.

2025

Our Biggest Year

This year brought our major rebrand - transforming Luna Grace with a fresh new look and elevated brand identity that finally reflected who we'd become. We grew our team, bringing on dedicated staff who share our passion and vision. We expanded into new markets and stockists across Australia, building a community we're incredibly proud of.

2026

Growth & Evolution

This year we launched exciting new products that expanded our range beyond candles: Hand & Body Lotion in four beautiful scents, a redesigned Men's Cologne Collection, our Room Spray Collection, Aura Mist Diffusers, and the stunning Luna Horizon Bowl. We're now stocked in retailers across Australia, attending markets throughout SA and Victoria. Every single product is still hand-labelled in-house with care - because that's who we are.
